Although I don't work at a state mental hospital anymore, I still work with mildly disabled children. My compassion keeps me there, but when the time comes to retire, I will be able to write full time. I have lived a life rich in experiences that have provided me plenty of grist for my story mill. The events and characters were not always pleasant at the time, but when I look back on them, I bless them all. When I am not working, I enjoy going on retreats with fellow artists, yogis, and mystics in the mountains of California.
